The TTI sequential race gearbox will be the subject of a special “Show and Tell” this summer and autumn around New Zealand as The Great TTI Road Trip takes place. TTI founder and designer Bruce Verdon is set to hit the road later this month for the start of the first leg of the TTI road trip.There will be six events hosted by TTI asssociates from Auckland to Palmerston North. Racers, car builders and maintenance crew will be able to see the display TTI race car sequential gear box and the new lightweight gearbox.  It will be a chance for them to find out information about TTI race sequential gearboxes.  Bruce will answer questions about maintenance, installation, shifting and anything else technical or practical those interested want to know.

Grass roots TTI sequential race gearbox users and promotion

TTI Operations Co-ordinator Rachael Parsons says the road trip was designed after the TTI team saw a need to get out to the grass roots users and maintainers of TTI gearboxes to equip them with more information.  The event aims to help them use and service TTI sequential race gearboxes successfully.  Promotion is also a major part of the tour and will give those who have thought about purchasing a TTI box a chance to see one in action by viewing the display box.  The display box has a  window showcasing the inner workings of the box.  Racers interested in the new 6 speed lightweight gearbox will be able to feel just how light it is as Bruce intends to take one “hot off the press”.
